About the Job

The Lifetime Value Co. is looking for a Contract Assistant Tax Manager who will be responsible for supporting facilitation and management of the company’s federal and state tax returns as well as assisting with the companies’ Sales Tax liability and filings. The seasonal role will focus on supporting as well as improving the overall tax process in the organization. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, pays close attention to details, has excellent relationship skills, time management, and is extremely organized. They will monitor current and impending changes to tax regulation and make the appropriate updates to policies and strategies.

What You Will Get to Do

  • Perform thorough review of S-Corp (1120-S), Partnership (1065), Composite, Pass-Thru Entity and Miscellaneous Tax Returns.
  • Assist in preparation & review of tax estimates.
  • Respond to IRS & State tax notices.
  • Registrations of companies in various state/city jurisdictions.
  • Ensure that submissions are timely and accurate.
  • Prepare supporting schedules as necessary.
  • Assist in the management of 3rd party tax preparers/consultants.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Masters in Tax strongly preferred)
  • 3–5 years prior public accounting or Corporate Tax experience.
  • Ability to work within a team environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and consistency
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-disciplined in a remote work environment
