About the Job

The Lifetime Value Co. is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive Fraud Prevention strategies within our organization, including those dealing with Payments Fraud and Account Takeover. You will work closely with Engineering, Business Intelligence, Compliance, Operations, and other Teams to fight fraudulent activity in our ecosystem. In this role, you will define the roadmap and build fraud prevention strategies leveraging big data to stop fraudsters in their tracks.

This hire will be a key member of our growing Payments and Risk Team.  Besides Fraud Prevention, there will be opportunities for this person to help drive Payments change more broadly, including integrating new Payment Methods, improving our Billing/Dunning processes, and Auth Rate optimization.

The ideal candidate will be data-driven, scrappy, have a bias for action, and have a deep commitment to growth and learning. What You Will Get to Do

  • Own the way forward for risk and fraud prevention strategies for Payments and Account Fraud
  • Work with a cross-functional team to identify, analyze and prevent fraudulent activities across our portfolio of brands
  • Apply a data-driven analytical approach to spot and mitigate emerging risks
  • Understand and analyze industry trends, risk and regulatory developments and competitive landscape
  • Partner with 3rd party vendors to enhance the company’s fraud prevention program
  • Support compliance and risk related initiatives including auditing of documentation, risk analysis, and other product due diligence initiatives
  • Help scale with a rapidly growing organization, with tons of opportunity for personal and professional growth

What You Bring to the Table

  • 4+ yrs. of relevant work in product management
  • 2+ yrs. of experience in one or more of the following areas: payments, chargebacks, credit card fraud, account takeovers or identity theft, cybersecurity
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly
  • Intellectually honest. You recognize that you can only solve problems you’re willing to call out
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Owner’s mindset. You’re a self-starter and get things across the finish line
  • Data-driven. You’re comfortable with using data to logically analyze problems
  • SQL skills, Looker experience, and the ability to pull/analyze your own data are a plus
