About the Job

The Lifetime Value Company is seeking a PR Associate to join the quickly growing PR team. You will manage PR campaigns across our portfolio of brands by engaging with local and national media, bloggers, and industry influencers. This role will help in increasing the online visibility, authority and reputation for each of our brands through the acquisition of branded mentions and backlinks to our data studies and guides. What You’ll Get To Do

  • Gain additional PR experience working across a variety of industries through our portfolio of brands.
  • Work on high profile PR campaigns and acquire high-quality links
  • Maintain our media contact databases and systems
  • Create lists of blog and media targets for outreach campaigns
  • Engage with bloggers, journalists, major media outlets, and influencers through email and/or phone.
  • Track and share outreach performance and press coverage.
  • Respond to daily media inquiries and requests.
  • Research online sites to find industry trends and interesting angles that we can develop into compelling PR campaigns and interesting storylines
  • Build relationships with key journalists and influencers
  • Stay up to date on the current news, identifying opportunities for campaigns and stories.
  • Assist in managing the distribution of external communications, including press releases, email outreach campaigns and other press materials.

What You Bring to the Table

  • PR, Digital PR, journalism, or marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising or work experience
  • Desire to be mentored, and developed, with a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications, specifically Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs and PowerPoint/Slides.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to think two steps ahead
  • Open to work on US timezone
  • Avid consumer of news and online content
  • Efficiently handle and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ability to adapt to shifting priorities

The Nice to Haves

  • Experience with media database tools— Cision, Meltwater and/or Muckrack
  • Experience working with outreach tools—Buzzstream or Pitchbox
  • Experience with SEO Tools—aHrefs, Moz, SemRush, Google Analytics
  • Experience working with multiple clients or brands at a time
  • Knowledge of the real estate, automotive, or people search industry
  • Existing press and influencer relations
  • SEO Knowledge
  • Link building or link outreach experience
  • Prior work in an agency or newsroom environment
